Hidden Gem. I’m traveling from Iowa and this place is alittle old but very clean and cozy. the staff were nice and accommodating. it’s close to food and coffee and not to far from the interstate. the price was definitely unbeatable would highly recommend and am already planing my next stay on my way home after new yearsÂ
Stayed here for a couple nights during vacation and we absolutely loved the room. Room was nice and clean, had towels and soaps, garbage was clean and changed, and the rooms have a old western decor vibe that we absolutely love. Beds are clean and nicely made, and staff at check in were nice and friendly!! Would DEFINITELY stay again!
5 stars for the Ice cream Parlor. The plains seems to have 3 parts hotel, restaurant, and Ice cream shop. I’ve only had ice cream here and it was a pleasant surprise. Portions are amazing and price is very reasonable!
I cannot give more praise to this establishment. I loved the rooms and the staff was amazing.
It is what it is, and inexpensive motel and it was very clean. A fairly big room with a nice refrigerator and microwave and the bed was very comfortable. It is an older motel but for the price that does not bother me because again it was very clean. I checked out a motel six earlier that day in Casper Wyoming and a room they gave me smelled like cigarette smoke, I have a CPAP and a smoky room will not work. I actually saved a couple of dollars by staying in this location and I was working that night in between Casper and Douglas in a town called Glenrock.
We were seated right away by a friendly hostess. The overall first impression is that dining room us from another era, with its rich wood walls and rock fireplace. They have a modest salad bar which is a plus, in our book! We both ordered burger which were delicious and the homemade curly fries were fantastic. Service was good, prices are very comparable. We enjoyed it and will be back.
Great breakfast. Old interesting buildings all connected together. Do walk through the restaurant and see the old soda fountain and knickknacks and historical memorabilia in every corner nook and cranny.
